We were selected through a nationwide contest to represent LifeProof on a 15-week road trip throughout the western U.S. The mission? To break for adventure.


 

THE GREAT SUMMER ROAD TRIP.

We were hired as content creators tasked with representing LifeProof and its partners during its 2016 branded campaign, the LifeProof Unleashed Summer Road Trip. The company selected us from more than 500 pairs throughout the United States who applied for the opportunity.

In addition to representing the brand at various events, we provided real-time updates to LifeProof's audience via their social media channels and created branded photo, video and written content for their marketing team to use to promote the company's products. 

 

Our Trusty Steed

WE MADE LIKE KEROUAC AND TOOK EARTHROAMER ON THE GREAT AMERICAN ROAD TRIP, SEEKING OUT SOME OLD-FASHIONED ADVENTURE AS WE WENT.

EarthRoamer makes custom luxury Xpedition vehicles that not only look great, they take punishment. With hiking boots, flannels and headlamps, we traversed the American West to document the EarthRoamer XV-LT in just the conditions these behemoths were designed to withstand. What we got was nasty gale winds, unrelenting heat and raw, deserted terrain. Tire pressure dialed and four-wheel-drive in low, we crawled rock, shimmied cliffsides and navigated ice, wind, sand and sleet. We even changed a flat -- all 215 lbs of rubber and metal -- by ourselves. Lewis and Clark bravery and a few pep talks got us through it.

We returned three-and-a-half months later with videos for social, stories from the hundreds of people we invited into our roving "summer home" and a whole catalog of photos showing the vehicle in action as it devoured every mile.
